Our Privacy Principles
No Text Storage
Your original text is sent directly to detection engines for analysis and immediately discarded. We never store, log, or cache your original content in any database.
SHA-256 Hashing Only
The only trace of your text is a one-way SHA-256 cryptographic hash, used solely for caching to avoid duplicate API charges. This hash cannot be reversed to recover your text.
No Training Data
Your text is never used to train AI models — not ours, not anyone else's. Detection engines receive your text for one-time analysis only.
Secure Infrastructure
OmniDetect runs on Vercel's edge network with TLS encryption for all data in transit. API keys are stored as encrypted environment variables, never in code.
Minimal Data Collection
We collect only what's necessary: email for authentication, scan metadata (scores, dates) for your history. No tracking pixels, no fingerprinting.
Right to Delete
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. When you delete, we delete — no hidden retention periods.
